I think I can I think I can !

Well here I am again, yes I know I know I have said it before but this is the year I can feel it in my bones! I will be better at blogging. Firstly for my family and secondly, I'm pretty sure I have to show some evidence that I actually did do something for homeschool.

I am excited this year as I am trialling a new curriculum for Literature, Geography, Art, History,Science and Music. We are still going with 'Life of Fred' for Math and we are loving piano lessons with 'Simply Music' and will be joining the gym so we should be quite busy .... YIKES! I'm tired already.

I am glad that we decided to homeschool another year as Jared and I were not ready to go back to the SYSTEM   ggggrrrrrrrr  hahaha I love being a free spirit/hippy.

Now for an update on our ever decreasing family. Aaron, Jared and I are now at home alone Brogan moved to Adelaide this weekend, I know, AGAIN I hear you say but this time she says it is for EVER and EVER!!!!! (Yes 5 exclamation marks are required to convey my emotion. For all my American friends I am not shouting, from what I understand this could be one of the many differences in our communication.) Brogan loves Adelaide and says it reminds her of Utah, it's smaller which she likes but it is clean with Mountains as the backdrop and the grid layout is easy to drive around. I guess I will have to get used to visiting Adelaide. Her best friend lives there, called Brooke who is expecting her 3rd baby, yes 3rd and Brogan is super excited to be an Aunty again. She absolutely adores Brooke's girls and they her. She is great with kids and will be a great mummy one day.

So as you can see with both Bradley and Brogan now living inter state we are having to adjust to a very quiet home. We do enjoy each others company though and always have fun things to do. Jared still plays basketball for the church team 'The Patriots' and Aaron has joined the Patriots men's team. We have a lot of fun watching them for our family night activity each Monday. Aaron still works in the city, say no more apart from we are very grateful that he gets on that bus daily with the traffic conditions being so bad during the annoying everlasting roadworks! I have decided to defer my studies for this year so I can focus on Jared's tuition. I'm looking forward to this year and although I can't really pin point why, I just feel a change coming that will be good for our family. I have an ever growing testimony of the gospel and am so thankful for my many blessings which are endless. I am thankful for the daily routines that breathe life into every fibre of my being like scripture study and daily prayer and feel gratitude that Jared seems to be growing in his own little testimony too.

Thanks to all my friends around the world who continue to set me a good example and are a tower of strength to me when I need it.

Thanks for checking in to read this if you have and hold onto the faith that I will update more often this year hahaha

Speak soon ...
