Happy Birthday to our youngest. jared has turned 12 and in our world that is a big deal. We have talked about this day and prepared for this day when Jared would be ready to be ordained to the office of Deacon in the Aaronic Priesthood.
It's a strange feeling as we did not to be in a place at this point in our lives when family life is not too demanding. The house is relatively calm as Jared has never yet tested us too much. It makes me wonder what will the teenage years bring, having had an easy time so far.
Jared loves young men's already and we are so grateful as his parents to know that we have such great leaders to take care of our boy. He is getting ready for his first young men's camp in September, the only trouble is that I, his mother, am NOT ready! Oh well I guess there are challenges with every change in life.
We love life and feel very grateful for all we have and look forward to these young men's years whatever they bring...
